I recently stayed at Saigon City Center Hostel for one night. The staff was incredibly kind and helped us organize a half day trip to Cu Chi tunnels and purchase bus tickets to Can Tho. They even drove us to the bus office when we were running late. The guy at the front desk spoke good English and made us feel welcome. The bed was comfortable, and despite our short stay, the location was convenient for exploring the city. The bathrooms were impressively clean, and they even offered free water refills. a great budget option with friendly staff.
Would recommend this hotel.
